BUCHINGER CLINIC: RECOVERING TERRACOTTA FLOOR IN DINING ROOM

In this work we find a terracotta floor, which although it had a previous treatment applied, it already suffered from numerous wear and tear; In addition to the existence of several areas with embedded stains and a great number of marches of scratches provoked by the movement of furniture.

The procedure to be followed was firstly to proceed to a process of pickling and thorough cleaning for both the removal of the remains of the old treatment and the removal of embedded stains. The work had to be carried out in two phases so as not to have to interrupt the passage of waiters and customers.

Once the soil was clean and dry we proceeded to apply protective treatment for indoor terracotta floors, with finished gloss effect.

Here we leave a summary with image of the whole process of the work from its initial state, to the final result obtained.
